Nance Industries began in 1972 under the original name Nance Carpet & Rug.
Carol Nance believed she could turn carpet scraps into something that wasn’t just beautiful but also high quality, with the intent of creating luxury that everyone could afford.
Carol’s journey as a female business owner began at a time when it wasn’t popular for women to be in the workforce. But, she was determined and dedicated to giving her family a better life than she had growing up.
50 years later, Carol and her husband Bob Nance are still in business and have expanded from a small rug cut operation to a leading floor provider with 5 manufacturing plants across the north end of Calhoun, Georgia, driven by a commitment to innovation and producing only the best for our customers. We hold ourselves to the highest standards with our exceptional products and supportive culture for women in business.
With help from second and third-generation family members, we’re proud to say that Nance Industries is now the largest woman-owned flooring business in the U.S., offering unmatched quality, services, and unbeatable prices to major home centers, retailers, contractors, and more.
"We are absolutely thrilled with the carpet we purchased from Nance Floors! The quality is beyond what I expected—soft, durable, and perfect for our customers. But what truly amazed me was the price—I couldn’t believe I got such a high-quality carpet at such an incredible deal. Nance Floors has earned a lifelong customer!"
